More about Tony's background
Tony Kennon was elected Mayor of the City of Orange Beach on August 26, 2008. He had previously served on the Orange Beach Planning Commission and the City Council. Mayor Kennon, a native of Chickasaw, Alabama in Mobile County has been coming to Orange Beach since the 1960s. Mayor Kennon is a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a degree in Physical Therapy and past owner of Forever Young Rehabilitation Services, now known as Encore Rehabilitation. He was Team Physical Therapist for the University of Alabama Athletic Department for four years. He is also a founding board member of the University of Alabama Sports Medicine Bureau. The Mayor continues to work as a rehabilitation consultant. He is married to Paula, a graduate of Huntingdon College and University of Alabama School of Law. They have two children, Bailey and Zane.
Tony has mine and Jana’s vote 100%. I’m proud to say I’ve lived here for 44yrs. I’ve seen nothing but continued growth from this council. Thank you for keeping OB great!

Mayor Tony Kennon and the City Council of Orange Beach will hold a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, August 6th, at the Orange Beach Event Center. This meeting will follow the 5 p.m. City Council meeting and work session.
