Celebrate 40 Years of Orange Beach at Town Hall Event

Elect Tony Kennon For Mayor

Mayor Tony Kennon and the City Council of Orange Beach will hold a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, August 6th, at the Orange Beach Event Center. This meeting will follow the 5 p.m. City Council meeting and work session.

The mayor will present updates on city projects and programs, including plans for The Wharf Landing property on the north side of the Intracoastal Waterway. The event will also celebrate the city’s 40th anniversary of incorporation. Attendees can receive free keepsakes to mark the occasion.

As is tradition in Orange Beach, the Town Hall will include a session where residents can ask questions after the presentations. This provides an opportunity for community members to engage with local leaders directly.

Once the landscaping is fully complete, these trees will be illuminated with up-lighting, adding a charming ambiance to the area. This initiative is part of a broader project aimed at improving the infrastructure and aesthetic appeal of East Canal Road, which was recently taken over from the state by the city.
